Hush - Episode 9: If You Can't Beat Them, Join Them

I love Hush, and Hwang Jung Min as Han Joon Hyuk's best episode to date, no doubt. Brilliant work. No one should have to choose between their survival and their conscience. There's nothing worse than feeling trapped trying to do the right thing, be it as a reporter, a prosecutor, or a cop--shame on all those who wield their power to silence that conscience.

If you can't beat them, join them, as they say, sometimes, one has to play the fool's role to fool the fool who thinks they are fooling them. Because if one is neutral in unjust situations, they've chosen the oppressor's side. I knew something was off about Hong Kyu Tae. I didn't expect it to be this big, though, and just when I thought the just side would never win. I applaud Kang Joo An for fighting in his own way and Joon Hyuk for recognizing that and apologizing to him. I can hardly wait for tomorrow.
